حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي إِسْمَعِيلَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ هِلَالٍ الْعَبْسِيُّ قَالَ قَالَ جَرِيرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا يَسُنُّ عَبْدٌ سُنَّةً صَالِحَةً يُعْمَلُ بِهَا بَعْدَهُ ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ تَمَامَ الْحَدِيثِ

Urdu Translation

  محمد بن ابی اسماعیل نے کہا : ہمیں عبدالرحمٰن بن ہلال عبسی نے حدیث بیان کی ، انہوں نے کہا : حضرت جریر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : " جو بندہ بھی کسی نیک کام کا آغاز کرے جس پر اس کے بعد عمل کیا جائے ۔ " پھر پوری حدیث بیان کی ۔

English Translation

Jarir b. 'Abdullah reported Allah's Messenger ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) as saying: The servant does not introduce good practice which is followed after him.... The rest of the hadith is the same.
