حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ وَأَبُو كُرَيْبٍ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ عَنْ حُصَيْنٍ عَنْ هِلَالٍ عَنْ فَرْوَةَ بْنِ نَوْفَلٍ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ عَنْ دُعَاءٍ كَانَ يَدْعُو بِهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَتْ كَانَ يَقُولُ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا عَمِلْتُ وَشَرِّ مَا لَمْ أَعْمَلْ

Urdu Translation

  عبداللہ بن ادریس نے حصین سے ، انہوں نے ہلال سے اور انہوں نے فروہ بن نوفل سے روایت کی ، کہا : میں نے حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے سوال کیا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کیا دعا فرمایا کرتے تھے؟ حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے کہا : آپ یہ دعا فرمایا کرتے تھے : " اے اللہ! میں نے جو کام کیے ہیں ، ان کے شر سے اور جو کام میں نے نہیں کیے ، ان کے شر سے تیری پناہ چاہتا ہوں ۔ "

English Translation

Farwa' b. Naufal reported: I asked 'A'isha about the supplication that Allah's Messenger ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) made. She said that he used to say: O Allah, I seek refuge in Thee from the evil of what I have done and from the evil of what I have not done.
