حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ح و حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ جَمِيعًا عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ أَبِي هَاشِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي مِجْلَزٍ عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ عُبَادٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا ذَرٍّ يُقْسِمُ لَنَزَلَتْ هَذَانِ خَصْمَانِ بِمِثْلِ حَدِيثِ هُشَيْمٍ
سفیان نے ابو ہاشم سے ، انھوں نے ابو مجلز سے ، انھوں نے قیس بن عباد سے روایت کی ، کہا : میں نے حضرت ابو ذر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ کو قسم کھا کر یہ کہتے ہوئے سنا : هَذَانِ خَصْمَانِ یہ آیت نازل ہوئی ۔ ( آگے ) ہشیم کی حدیث کے مانند ہے ۔
