Baab Haiz Ka Maini O Mafhoom

وَحَدَّثَنَاهُ أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، عَنِ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ كَثِيرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَطَاءٍ، قَالَ: كُنْتُ مَعَ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، وَسَاقَ الْحَدِيثَ بِمَعْنَى حَدِيثِ ابْنِ حَلْحَلَةَ، وَفِيهِ أَنَّ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ، شَهِدَ ذَلِكَ مِنَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَقَالَ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَقُلْ بِالنَّاسِ

Urdu Translation

  امام مسلم نے ایک دوسری سند سے ولید بن کثیر کے واسطے سے محمد بن عمرو بن عطاء سے روایت کی ، کہا : میں ابن عباس ‌رضی ‌اللہ ‌عنہ ‌ ‌ کے ساتھ تھا .... اس کے بعد انہوں نے ابن حلحلہ کی روایت کے ہم معنیٰ حدیث بیان کی ہے اور اس میں یہ اضافہ ہے کہ ابن عباس ؓ موجود تھے اور یہ کہ انہوں نے ( ابن عباس ) نے صلى بالناس ( آپﷺ نے لوگوں کو نماز پڑھائی ) کے بجائے صلى ( آپﷺ نے نماز پڑھی ) کہا ۔

English Translation

This hadith is narrated by Muhammad b. 'Amr b. Ata' with these words: I was with Ibn 'Abbas, and Ibn 'Abbas saw the Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) doing like this, and it is also said that the words are: He (the Holy Prophet) offered prayer; and the word people is not mentioned.
