This hadith has been transmitted by Qatada with the same chain of transmitters that he saw the Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) doing this (i.e. raising his hands) till they were opposite the lobes of ears.
