حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ سُهَيْلٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: إِذَا قَالَ الْقَارِئُ: {غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا الضَّالِّينَ} [الفاتحة: 7] فَقَالَ: مَنْ خَلْفَهُ: آمِينَ، فَوَافَقَ قَوْلُهُ قَوْلَ أَهْلِ السَّمَاءِ، غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ

Urdu Translation

  سہیل کے والد ابو صالح نے حضرت ابو ہریرہ ‌رضی ‌اللہ ‌عنہ ‌ ‌ سے روایت کی کہ رسول اللہﷺ نے فرمایا : ’’ جب قاری ﴿غير المغضوب عليهم والا الضالين﴾ کہے اور جو اس کے پیچھے ہے وہ ( بھی ) آمین کہے اور اس کا کہنا آسمان والوں کی کہی ہوئی ( آمین ) کے موافق ہو جائے تو اس کے پچھلے گناہ معاف کر دیے جاتے ہیں ۔ ‘ ‘

English Translation

Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) said: When the reciter (Imam) utters: Not of those on whom (is Thine) wrath and not the erring ones, and (the person) behind him utters Amin and his utterance synchronises with that of the dwellers of heavens, all his previous sins would be pardoned.
