Narrated Aishah: The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم as saying: Choose such actions as you are capable of performing, for Allah does not grow weary till you do. The acts most pleasing to Allah are those which are done most continuously, even if they amount to little. Whenever he began an action, he would do it continuously.

حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ ابْنِ عَجْلَانَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ اكْلَفُوا مِنَ الْعَمَلِ مَا تُطِيقُونَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَمَلُّ حَتَّى تَمَلُّوا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَإِنَّ أَحَبَّ الْعَمَلِ إِلَى اللَّهِ أَدْوَمُهُ وَإِنْ قَلَّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَكَانَ إِذَا عَمِلَ عَمَلًا أَثْبَتَهُ .

ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا فرماتی ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: عمل کرتے رہو جتنا تم سے ہو سکے، اس لیے کہ اللہ تعالیٰ ( ثواب دینے سے ) نہیں تھکتا یہاں تک کہ تم ( عمل کرنے سے ) تھک جاؤ، اللہ تعالیٰ کے نزدیک سب سے پسندیدہ عمل وہ ہے جو پابندی کے ساتھ کیا جائے اگرچہ وہ کم ہو ، چنانچہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم جب کوئی کام شروع کرتے تو اس پر جمے رہتے۔
