Aishah said: The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم would send the sacrificial animals as offerings (to Makkah) from Madinah. I would twist the garlands of the sacrificial animals ; thereafter he would not abstain from anything from which a pilgrim putting on Ihram abstains.

حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الرَّمْلِيُّ الْهَمَدَانِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَقُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّ اللَّيْثَ بْنَ سَعْدٍ حَدَّثَهُمْ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَعَمْرَةَ بِنْتِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُهْدِي مِنْ الْمَدِينَةِ فَأَفْتِلُ قَلَائِدَ هَدْيِهِ ثُمَّ لَا يَجْتَنِبُ شَيْئًا مِمَّا يَجْتَنِبُ الْمُحْرِمُ .

عروہ اور عمرہ بنت عبدالرحمٰن سے روایت ہے کہ   ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم مدینہ سے ہدی بھیجتے تو میں آپ کی ہدی کے قلادے بٹتی اس کے بعد آپ کسی چیز سے اجتناب نہیں کرتے جس سے محرم اجتناب کرتا ہے۔
