Sunan Abu Dawood 2239 - Divorce (Kitab Al-Talaq)

حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو أَحْمَدَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ سِمَاكٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَسْلَمَتِ امْرَأَةٌ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَتَزَوَّجَتْ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَجَاءَ زَوْجُهَا إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏إِنِّي قَدْ كُنْتُ أَسْلَمْتُ وَعَلِمَتْ بِإِسْلَامِي، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَانْتَزَعَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ زَوْجِهَا الْآخَرِ وَرَدَّهَا إِلَى زَوْجِهَا الْأَوَّلِ .

Urdu Translation

عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے زمانے میں ایک عورت مسلمان ہو گئی اور اس نے نکاح بھی کر لیا، اس کے بعد اس کا شوہر رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آیا، اور کہنے لگا: اللہ کے رسول! میں اسلام لے آیا تھا اور اسے میرے اسلام لانے کا علم تھا چنانچہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے دوسرے شوہر سے اسے چھین کر اس کے پہلے شوہر کو لوٹا دیا۔

English Translation

Narrated Abdullah ibn Abbas: A woman embraced Islam during the time of the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم; she then married. Her (former) husband then came to the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم and said: Messenger of Allah, I have already embraced Islam, and she had the knowledge about my Islam. The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم took her away from her latter husband and restored her to her former husband.
