Sunan Abu Dawood 2309 - Divorce (Kitab Al-Talaq)

حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ الْأَسْوَدِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ رَجُلٍ طَلَّقَ امْرَأَتَهُ يَعْنِي ثَلَاثًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَتَزَوَّجَتْ زَوْجًا غَيْرَهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَدَخَلَ بِهَا ثُمَّ طَلَّقَهَا قَبْلَ أَنْ يُوَاقِعَهَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَتَحِلُّ لِزَوْجِهَا الْأَوَّلِ ؟ قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ لَا تَحِلُّ لِلْأَوَّلِ حَتَّى تَذُوقَ عُسَيْلَةَ الْآخَرِ وَيَذُوقَ عُسَيْلَتَهَا .

Urdu Translation

ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے اس شخص کے بارے میں مسئلہ دریافت کیا گیا جس نے اپنی بیوی کو تین طلاق دے دی، پھر اس عورت نے دوسرے شخص سے نکاح کر لیا اور وہ شخص اس کے پاس گیا لیکن جماع سے پہلے ہی اس نے اسے طلاق دے دی تو کیا وہ عورت پہلے شوہر کے لیے حلال ہو جائے گی؟ ۔ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: وہ پہلے شوہر کے لیے حلال نہیں ہو سکتی جب تک کہ وہ عورت دوسرے شوہر کی مٹھاس نہ چکھ لے اور وہ شوہر اس عورت کی مٹھاس نہ چکھ لے۱؎ ۔

English Translation

Narrated Aishah, Ummul Muminin: The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم was asked about a man who divorced his wife three times, and she married another who entered upon her, but divorced her before having intercourse with her, whether she was lawful for the former husband. She said: The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم replied: She is not lawful for the first (husband) until she tastes the honey of the other husband and he tastes her honey.
