حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ مَالِكٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَمْرَةَ بِنْتِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْعَائِشَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا اعْتَكَفَ يُدْنِي إِلَيَّ رَأْسَهُ فَأُرَجِّلُهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَكَانَ لَا يَدْخُلُ الْبَيْتَ إِلَّا لِحَاجَةِ الْإِنْسَانِ .

Urdu Translation

ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم جب اعتکاف میں ہوتے تو ( مسجد ہی سے ) اپنا سر میرے قریب کر دیتے اور میں اس میں کنگھی کر دیتی اور آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم گھر میں کسی انسانی ضرورت ہی کے پیش نظر داخل ہوتے تھے۔

English Translation

Aishah said: When the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم observed Itikaf, he would put his head near me, and I would comb it. and he entered the house only to fulfill human needs (i. e. to urinate or to relieve himself).
