Sunan Abu Dawood 2615 - Jihad (Kitab Al-Jihad)

Baab Qaza Ke Ehkaam O Masail

حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ نَافِعٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَرَّقَ نَخْلَ بَنِي النَّضِيرِ وَقَطَعَ وَهِيَ البُوَيْرَةُ فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ مَا قَطَعْتُمْ مِنْ لِينَةٍ أَوْ تَرَكْتُمُوهَا سورة الحشر آية 5.

Urdu Translation

عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے بنونضیر کے کھجوروں کے باغات جلا دیے اور درختوں کو کاٹ ڈالا ( یہ مقام بویرہ میں تھا ) تو اللہ نے یہ آیت کریمہ نازل فرمائی «ما قطعتم من لينة أو تركتموها» کھجور کے جو درخت تم نے کاٹ ڈالے، یا اپنی جڑوں پر انہیں قائم رہنے دیا، یہ سب اللہ کے حکم سے تھا ( سورۃ الحشر: ۵ ) ۔

English Translation

IbnUmar said “The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم burned the palm tree of Banu Al Nadr and cut (them) down at Al Buwairah. So, Allaah the exalted sent down “the palm trees you cut down or left. ”
