Sunan Abu Dawood 2652 - Jihad (Kitab Al-Jihad)

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُحَبَّبٍ أَبُو هَمَّامٍ الدَّلَّالُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاق، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْحَارِثَةَ بْنِ مُضَرِّبٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ فُرَاتِ بْنِ حَيَّانَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَمَرَ بِقَتْلِهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَكَانَ عَيْنًا لِأَبِي سُفْيَانَ وَكَانَ حَلِيفًا لِرَجُلٍ مِنَ الأَنْصَارِ فَمَرَّ بِحَلَقَةٍ مِنَ الأَنْصَارِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ إِنِّي مُسْلِمٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ الْأَنْصَارِ:‏‏‏‏ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّهُ يَقُولُ إِنِّي مُسْلِمٌ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ إِنَّ مِنْكُمْ رِجَالًا نَكِلُهُمْ إِلَى إِيمَانِهِمْ مِنْهُمْ فُرَاتُ بْنُ حَيَّانَ .

Urdu Translation

فرات بن حیان رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان کے متعلق قتل کا حکم صادر فرمایا، یہ ابوسفیان کے جاسوس اور ایک انصاری کے حلیف تھے ۱؎، ان کا گزر حلقہ بنا کر بیٹھے ہوئے کچھ انصار کے پاس سے ہوا تو انہوں نے کہا کہ میں مسلمان ہوں، ایک انصاری نے کہا: اللہ کے رسول! یہ کہتا ہے کہ میں مسلمان ہوں، رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: تم میں سے بعض لوگ ایسے ہیں کہ ہم انہیں ان کے ایمان کے سپرد کرتے ہیں، ان ہی میں سے فرات بن حیان بھی ہیں ۔

English Translation

Narrated Furat ibn Hayyan: The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم commanded to kill him: he was a spy of Abu Sufyan and an ally of a man of the Ansar. He passed a circle of the Ansar and said: I am a Muslim. A man from the Ansar said, Messenger of Allah, he is saying that he is a Muslim. The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: There are people among you in whose faith we trust. Furat ibn Hayyan is one of them.
