Sunan Abu Dawood 2698 - Jihad (Kitab Al-Jihad)

حَدَّثَنَا صَالِحُ بْنُ سُهَيْلٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ نَافِعٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّ غُلَامًا لِابْنِ عُمَرَ أَبَقَ إِلَى الْعَدُوِّ فَظَهَرَ عَلَيْهِ الْمُسْلِمُونَ فَرَدَّهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى ابْنِ عُمَرَ وَلَمْ يَقْسِمْ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُد:‏‏‏‏ وَقَالَ غَيْرُهُ:‏‏‏‏ رَدَّهُ عَلَيْهِ خَالِدُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ.

Urdu Translation

عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ   ان کا ایک غلام دشمنوں کی جانب بھاگ گیا پھر مسلمان دشمن پر غالب آ گئے تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے یہ غلام عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کو واپس دے دیا، اسے مال غنیمت میں تقسیم نہیں کیا۔ ابوداؤد کہتے ہیں: دوسروں کی روایت میں ہے خالد بن ولید نے اسے انہیں لوٹا دیا۔

English Translation

Narrated Abdullah ibn Umar: Nafi said that a slave of Ibn Umar ran away to the enemy, and then the Muslims overpowered them. The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم returned him to Ibn Umar and that was not distributed (as a part of booty). Abu Dawud said: The other narrators said: Khalid bin al-Walid returned him to him (Ibd Umar).
