Sunan Abu Dawood 2702 - Jihad (Kitab Al-Jihad)

حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيل، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالْقَعْنَبِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَا:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ يَعْنِي ابْنَ هِلَالٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُغَفَّلٍقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ دُلِّيَ جِرَابٌ مِنْ شَحْمٍ يَوْمَ خَيْبَرَ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ فَأَتَيْتُهُ فَالْتَزَمْتُهُ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ ثُمَّ قُلْتُ:‏‏‏‏ لَا أُعْطِي مِنْ هَذَا أَحَدًا الْيَوْمَ شَيْئًا قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ فَالْتَفَتُّ فَإِذَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَتَبَسَّمُ إِلَيَّ.

Urdu Translation

عبداللہ بن مغفل رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   خیبر کے دن چربی کا ایک مشک لٹکایا گیا تو میں آیا اور اس سے چمٹ گیا، پھر میں نے کہا: آج میں اس میں سے کسی کو بھی کچھ نہیں دوں گا، پھر میں مڑا تو کیا دیکھتا ہوں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم میری اس حرکت پر کھڑے مسکرا رہے ہیں۔

English Translation

Abd Allaah bin Mughaffal said “On the day of Khaibar a skin of fat was hanging. I came to it and clung to it. I then said (i. e., thought) I shall not give any one any of it today. I then turned round and saw the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم smiling at me.
