حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيل بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ نُفَيْرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَوْفِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ الأَشْجَعِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَخَالِدِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَضَى بِالسَّلَبِ لِلْقَاتِلِ وَلَمْ يُخَمِّسْ السَّلَبَ.

Urdu Translation

عوف بن مالک اشجعی اور خالد بن ولید رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے سلب کا فیصلہ قاتل کے لیے کیا، اور سلب سے خمس نہیں نکالا۔

English Translation

Narrated Awf ibn Malik al-Ashjai ; Khalid ibn al-Walid: The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم gave judgement that the killer should have what was taken from the man he killed, and did not make this subject to division into fifths.
