Baab Sunnah Ki Ehmiyat O Fazilat

حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ خَالِدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَوْهَبٍ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْعَائِشَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ فِيهِ:‏‏‏‏ فَكَانَتْ تَغْتَسِلُ لِكُلِّ صَلَاةٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُد:‏‏‏‏ رَوَاهُ الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ مَبْرُورٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ يُونُسَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَمْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أُمِّ حَبِيبَةَ بِنْتِ جَحْشٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَكَذَلِكَ رَوَاهُ مَعْمَرٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَمْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَرُبَّمَا قَالَ مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ عَمْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أُمِّ حَبِيبَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏بِمَعْنَاهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَكَذَلِكَ رَوَاهُ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَمْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَقَالَ ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ فِي حَدِيثِهِ:‏‏‏‏ وَلَمْ يَقُلْ إِنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَمَرَهَا أَنْ تَغْتَسِلَ. وَكَذَلِكَ رَوَاهُ الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ أَيْضًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ فِيهِ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَتْ عَائِشَة:‏‏‏‏ فَكَانَتْ تَغْتَسِلُ لِكُلِّ صَلَاةٍ.

Urdu Translation

اس سند سے بھی ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے یہی حدیث مروی ہے، اس میں ہے وہ ( ام حبیبہ رضی اللہ عنہا ) ہر نماز کے لیے غسل کرتی تھیں۔ ابوداؤد کہتے ہیں: اسے قاسم بن مبرور نے یونس سے، انہوں نے ابن شہاب سے، انہوں نے عمرہ سے، انہوں نے ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے، اور انہوں نے ام حبیبہ بنت جحش رضی اللہ عنہا سے روایت کی ہے، اور اسی طرح اسے معمر نے زہری سے، انہوں نے عمرہ سے، اور انہوں نے ام المؤمنین عائشہ سے روایت کی ہے، اور کبھی کبھی معمر نے عمرہ سے، انہوں نے ام حبیبہ سے اسی مفہوم کی حدیث روایت کی ہے، اور اسی طرح اسے ابراہیم بن سعد اور ابن عیینہ نے زہری سے، انہوں نے عمرہ سے، انہوں نے عائشہ سے روایت کی ہے، اور ابن عیینہ نے اپنی روایت میں کہا ہے کہ انہوں ( زہری ) نے یہ نہیں کہا کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے انہیں ( ام حبیبہ کو ) غسل کرنے کا حکم دیا، نیز اسی طرح اسے اوزاعی نے بھی روایت کی ہے اس میں ہے کہ عائشہ نے کہا: وہ ہر نماز کے لیے غسل کرتی تھیں۔

English Translation

This has been narrated though a different chain of narrators by Aishah. This version has the words: She used to take a bath for every prayer. Abu Dawud said: Al-Qasim bin Mabrur reported from Yunus from Ibn Shihab from Amrah from Aishah from Umm Habibah daughter of Jahsh. Similarly, it was reported by Mamar from al-Zuhri from Amrah from Aishah. Mamar sometimes reported from Amrah on the authority of Umm Habibah to the same effect. Similarly, it was reported by Ibrahim bin Saad and Ibn Uyainah from al-Zuhri from Amrah from Aishah. Ibn Uyainah said in his version: He (al-Zuhri) did not say that the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم commanded her to take bath. It has also been transmitted by al-Awzai in a similar way. In this version he said: Aishah said: She used to take bath for very prayer.
