حَدَّثَنَا سَلَمَةُ بْنُ شَبِيبٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ هَمَّامِ بْنِ مُنَبِّهٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا مَا حَدَّثَنَا بِهِ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ مَا أُوتِيكُمْ مِنْ شَيْءٍ وَمَا أَمْنَعُكُمُوهُ إِنْ أَنَا إِلَّا خَازِنٌ أَضَعُ حَيْثُ أُمِرْتُ .

Urdu Translation

ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: میں تم کو کوئی چیز نہ اپنی طرف سے دیتا ہوں اور نہ ہی اسے دینے سے روکتا ہوں میں تو صرف خازن ہوں میں تو بس وہیں خرچ کرتا ہوں جہاں مجھے حکم ہوتا ہے ۔

English Translation

Narrated Abu Hurairah: The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: It is not on my own that I give you or withhold from you: I am just a treasure, putting it where I have been commanded.
