حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحِيمِ بْنُ مُطَرِّفٍ الرُّؤَاسِيُّ أَبُو سُفْيَانَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ جَنَابٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَا:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُد:‏‏‏‏ هُوَ ابْنُ يُونُسَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ الْبَلَوِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَزْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَقَالَ عَبْدُ الرَّحِيمِ:‏‏‏‏ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِالْحُصَيْنِ بْنِ وَحْوَحٍ:‏‏‏‏ أَنَّ طَلْحَةَ بْنَ الْبَرَاءِ مَرِضَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَأَتَاهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَعُودُهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ إِنِّي لَا أَرَى طَلْحَةَ إِلَّا قَدْ حَدَثَ فِيهِ الْمَوْتُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَآذِنُونِي بِهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَعَجِّلُوا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَنْبَغِي لِجِيفَةِ مُسْلِمٍ أَنْ تُحْبَسَ بَيْنَ ظَهْرَانَيْ أَهْلِهِ .

Urdu Translation

حصین بن وحوح رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   طلحہ بن براء رضی اللہ عنہ بیمار ہوئے تو نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ان کی عیادت کے لیے آئے، اور فرمایا: میں یہی سمجھتا ہوں کہ اب طلحہ مرنے ہی والے ہیں، تو تم لوگ مجھے ان کے انتقال کی خبر دینا اور تجہیز و تکفین میں جلدی کرنا، کیونکہ کسی مسلمان کی لاش اس کے گھر والوں میں روکے رکھنا مناسب نہیں ہے ۔

English Translation

Narrated Al-Husayn ibn Wahwah: Talhah ibn al-Bara fell ill and the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم came to pay him a sick-visit. He said: I think Talhah has died; so tell me (about his death), and make haste, for it is not advisable that the corpse of a Muslim should remain withheld among his family.
