حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَاتِمِ بْنِ بَزِيعٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَخْبَرَنِي جَابِرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَوْ سَمِعْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ رَأَى نَاسٌ نَارًا فِي الْمَقْبَرَةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَأَتَوْهَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَإِذَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْقَبْرِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَإِذَا هُوَ يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ نَاوِلُونِي صَاحِبَكُمْ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَإِذَا هُوَ الرَّجُلُ الَّذِي كَانَ يَرْفَعُ صَوْتَهُ بِالذِّكْرِ.

Urdu Translation

جابر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں   کچھ لوگوں نے قبرستان میں ( رات میں ) روشنی دیکھی تو وہاں گئے، دیکھا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم قبر کے اندر کھڑے ہوئے ہیں اور فرما رہے ہیں: تم اپنے ساتھی کو ( یعنی نعش کو ) مجھے تھماؤ ، تو دیکھا کہ ( مرنے والا ) وہ آدمی تھا جو بلند آواز سے ذکر الٰہی کیا کرتا تھا۔

English Translation

Narrated Jabir ibn Abdullah: The people saw fire (light) in the graveyard and they went there. They found that the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم was in a grave and he was saying: Give me your companion. This was a man who used to raise his voice while mentioning the name of Allah.
