حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْقَطَّانُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَخْبَرَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَخْبَرَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ زَحْرٍ:‏‏‏‏ أَنَّ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ أَخْبَرَهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ مَالِكٍ أَخْبَرَهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّ عُقْبَةَ بْنَ عَامِرٍ أَخْبَرَهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ عَنْ أُخْتٍ لَهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏نَذَرَتْ أَنْ تَحُجَّ حَافِيَةً غَيْرَ مُخْتَمِرَةٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ مُرُوهَا فَلْتَخْتَمِرْ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَلْتَرْكَبْ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَلْتَصُمْ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ .

Urdu Translation

عقبہ بن عامر رضی اللہ عنہ نے خبر دی کہ   انہوں نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے اپنی ایک بہن کے بارے میں پوچھا جس نے نذر مانی تھی کہ وہ ننگے پیر اور ننگے سر حج کرے گی، تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: اسے حکم دو کہ اپنا سر ڈھانپ لے اور سواری پر سوار ہو اور ( بطور کفارہ ) تین دن کے روزے رکھے ۔

English Translation

Narrated Uqbah ibn Amir: Uqbah consulted the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم about his sister who took a vow to perform hajj barefooted and bareheaded. So he said: Command her to cover her head and to ride, and to fast three days.
