Sunan Abu Dawood 381 - Purification (Kitab Al-Taharah)

حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ حَازِمٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ الْمَلِكِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عُمَيْرٍ يُحَدِّثُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْعَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَعْقِلِ بْنِ مُقَرِّنٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ صَلَّى أَعْرَابِيٌّ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏بِهَذِهِ الْقِصَّةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ فِيهِ:‏‏‏‏ وَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ يَعْنِي النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏خُذُوا مَا بَالَ عَلَيْهِ مِنَ التُّرَابِ فَأَلْقُوهُ وَأَهْرِيقُوا عَلَى مَكَانِهِ مَاءً، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُد:‏‏‏‏ وَهُوَ مُرْسَلٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ابْنُ مَعْقِلٍ لَمْ يُدْرِكِ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.

Urdu Translation

عبداللہ بن معقل بن مقرن کہتے ہیں کہ   ایک اعرابی نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ نماز پڑھی، پھر انہوں نے اعرابی کے پیشاب کرنے کے اسی قصہ کو بیان کیا اس میں ہے کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جس مٹی پر اس نے پیشاب کیا ہے وہ اٹھا کر پھینک دو اور اس کی جگہ پر پانی بہا دو ۔ ابوداؤد کہتے ہیں: یہ روایت مرسل ہے اس لیے کہ ابن معقل نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو نہیں پایا ہے۔

English Translation

Narrated Abdullah ibn Maqil ibn Muqarrin: A bedouin prayed with the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم. He then narrated the tradition (No 0380) about urinating of that bedouin. This version adds: The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: Remove the earth where he urinated and throw it away and pour water upon the place. Abu Dawud said: This is a mursal tradition (i. e. the narrator quotes the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم directly, although he did not see him). Ibn Maqil did not see the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم.
