حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي عَلِيِّ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْالزُّهْرِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ:‏‏‏‏ أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَرَأَ:‏‏‏‏ 0 وَكَتَبْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ فِيهَا أَنَّ النَّفْسَ بِالنَّفْسِ وَالْعَيْنُ بِالْعَيْنِ 0 .

Urdu Translation

انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم «وكتبنا عليهم فيها أن النفس بالنفس والعين بالعين» اور ہم نے یہودیوں کے ذمہ تورات میں یہ بات مقرر کر دی تھی کہ جان کے بدلے جان اور آنکھ کے بدلے آنکھ ہے ( سورۃ المائدہ: ۴۵ ) ( عین کے رفع کے ساتھ ) پڑھا۔

English Translation

Narrated Anas ibn Malik: The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم read the verse: We ordained therein for them: Life for life and eye for eye (an-nafsa bin-nafsi wal-'aynu bil-'ayn).
