حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ الْبَزَّازُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ جَابِرِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ كُنَّا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي سَفَرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَكْثِرُوا مِنَ النِّعَالِ فَإِنَّ الرَّجُلَ لَا يَزَالُ رَاكِبًا مَا انْتَعَلَ .

Urdu Translation

جابر رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   ہم نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ ایک سفر میں تھے آپ نے فرمایا: جوتے خوب پہنا کرو کیونکہ جب تک آدمی جوتے پہنے رہتا ہے برابر سوار رہتا ہے ( یعنی پاؤں اذیت سے محفوظ رہتا ہے ) ۔

English Translation

Narrated Jabir: We were with the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم on a journey. He said: Make a general practice of wearing sandals, for a man keeps riding as long as he wears sandals.
