حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُفَيْلٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاق، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ فِي كُلِّ مَرَّةٍ:‏‏‏‏ فَلْيَضْرِبْهَا كِتَابُ اللَّهِ وَلَا يُثَرِّبْ عَلَيْهَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَقَالَ فِي الرَّابِعَةِ:‏‏‏‏ فَإِنْ عَادَتْ فَلْيَضْرِبْهَا كِتَابُ اللَّهِ ثُمَّ لِيَبِعْهَا وَلَوْ بِحَبْلٍ مِنْ شَعْرٍ.

Urdu Translation

اس سند سے بھی ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے یہی حدیث مرفوعاً مروی ہے، اس میں ہے کہ   ہر بار اسے اللہ کی کتاب کے موافق یعنی پچاس کوڑے مارے ۱؎ اور صرف ڈانٹ ڈپٹ کر نہ چھوڑ دے، یا حد لگانے کے بعد پھر نہ ڈانٹے، اور چوتھی بار میں فرمایا: اگر وہ پھر زنا کرے تو پھر اسے اللہ کی کتاب کے موافق حد لگائے، پھر چاہیئے کہ اسے بیچ دے، گو بال کی ایک رسی ہی کے بدلے کیوں نہ ہو۔

English Translation

This tradition has been transmitted by Abu Hurairah from the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم. This version has: He said each time: He should give her the appropriate beating according to Allah’s Book, but not Hurl reproaches at her. He said a fourth time: If she does it again, he should give her the appropriate beating according to Allah’s Book, and then should sell her even if only for a rope of hair.
