حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَنْبَلٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ:‏‏‏‏ أَنّ غُلَامًا لِأُنَاسٍ فُقَرَاءَ قَطَعَ أُذُنَ غُلَامٍ لِأُنَاسٍ أَغْنِيَاءَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَأَتَى أَهْلُهُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالُوا:‏‏‏‏ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّا أُنَاسٌ فُقَرَاءُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَلَمْ يَجْعَلْ عَلَيْهِ شَيْئًا .

Urdu Translation

عمران بن حصین رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ   فقیر لوگوں کے ایک غلام نے کچھ مالدار لوگوں کے ایک غلام کا کان کاٹ لیا، تو جس غلام نے کان کاٹا تھا اس کے مالکان نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آ کر کہا: اللہ کے رسول! ہم فقیر لوگ ہیں، تو آپ نے ان پر کوئی دیت نہیں ٹھہرائی۔

English Translation

Narrated Imran ibn Husayn: A servant of some poor people cut off the ear of the servant of some rich people. His people came to the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم and said: Messenger of Allah! we are poor people. So he imposed no compensation on them.
