حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاق بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيل، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أخبرنا سُفْيَانُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّهُ سَمِعَهُ يُحَدِّثُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ نَاسٌ:‏‏‏‏ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَرَى رَبَّنَا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ؟ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ هَلْ تُضَارُّونَ فِي رُؤْيَةِ الشَّمْسِ فِي الظَّهِيرَةِ لَيْسَتْ فِي سَحَابَةٍ ؟،‏‏‏‏ قَالُوا:‏‏‏‏ لَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ هَلْ تُضَارُّونَ فِي رُؤْيَةِ الْقَمَرِ لَيْلَةَ الْبَدْرِ لَيْسَ فِي سَحَابَةٍ ؟،‏‏‏‏ قَالُوا:‏‏‏‏ لَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏لَا تُضَارُّونَ فِي رُؤْيَتِهِ إِلَّا كَمَا تُضَارُّونَ فِي رُؤْيَةِ أَحَدِهِمَا .

Urdu Translation

ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   کچھ لوگوں نے عرض کیا: اللہ کے رسول! کیا قیامت کے دن ہم اپنے رب کو دیکھیں گے؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: کیا تمہیں دوپہر کے وقت سورج کو دیکھنے میں کوئی زحمت ہوتی ہے جب کہ وہ بدلی میں نہ ہو؟ لوگوں نے کہا: نہیں، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: کیا تم چودہویں رات کے چاند کو دیکھنے میں دقت محسوس کرتے ہو، جب کہ وہ بدلی میں نہ ہو؟ لوگوں نے عرض کیا: نہیں، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: اس ذات کی قسم جس کے ہاتھ میں میری جان ہے تمہیں اللہ کے دیدار میں کوئی دقت نہ ہو گی مگر اتنی ہی جتنی ان دونوں میں سے کسی ایک کے دیکھنے میں ہوتی ہے ۱؎ ۔

English Translation

Abu Hurairah said: The people asked: Messenger of Allah! Shall we see our lord, the Exalted, on the Day of resurrection? He replied: Do you feel any trouble in seeing the sun at noon when it is not in the cloud? They said: No. He asked: Do you feel any trouble in seeing the moon on the night when it is full and not in the cloud? They replied: No. He said: By him in whose hand my soul is, you will not feel any trouble in seeing him except as much as you feel in seeing any of them.
