Sunan Abu Dawood 4881 - General Behavior (Kitab Al-Adab)

حَدَّثَنَا حَيْوَةُ بْنُ شُرَيْحٍ الْمِصْرِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا بَقِيَّةُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ ابْنِ ثَوْبَانَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ وَقَّاصِ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْالْمُسْتَوْرِدِ أَنَّهُ حَدَّثَهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ مَنْ أَكَلَ بِرَجُلٍ مُسْلِمٍ أَكْلَةً فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ يُطْعِمُهُ مِثْلَهَا مِنْ جَهَنَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَمَنْ كُسِيَ ثَوْبًا بِرَجُلٍ مُسْلِمٍ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ يَكْسُوهُ مِثْلَهُ مِنْ جَهَنَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَمَنْ قَامَ بِرَجُلٍ مَقَامَ سُمْعَةٍ وَرِيَاءٍ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ يَقُومُ بِهِ مَقَامَ سُمْعَةٍ وَرِيَاءٍ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ .

Urdu Translation

مستورد رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جو شخص کسی مسلمان کا عیب بیان کر کے ایک نوالا کھائے گا تو اس کو اللہ اتنا ہی جہنم سے کھلائے گا، اور جو شخص کسی مسلمان کا عیب بیان کر کے ایک کپڑا پہنے گا تو اللہ اسے اسی جیسا لباس جہنم میں پہنائے گا، اور جو شخص کسی شخص کو شہرت اور ریا کے مقام پر پہنچائے گا تو قیامت کے دن اللہ اسے خوب شہرت اور ریا کے مقام پر پہنچا دے گا ( یعنی اس کی ایسی رسوائی ہو گی کہ سارے لوگوں میں اس کا چرچا ہو گا ) ۔

English Translation

Narrated Al-Mustawrid: The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: If anyone eats once at the cost of a Muslim's honour, Allah will give him a like amount of Jahannam to eat; if anyone clothes himself with a garment at the cost of a Muslim's honour, Allah will clothe him with like amount of Jahannam; and if anyone puts himself in a position of reputation and show Allah will disgrace him with a place of reputation and show on the Day of Resurrection.
