حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَخْبَرَنَا. ح وحَدَّثَنَا الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَخْبَرَنِياللَّيْثُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ النَّجَّارِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْبَيْلَمَانِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قال:‏‏‏‏ الرَّبِيعُ ابْنُ الْبَيْلَمَانِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّهُ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ مَنْ قَالَ حِينَ يُصْبِحُ:‏‏‏‏ فَسُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ حِينَ تُمْسُونَ وَحِينَ تُصْبِحُونَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ فِي السَّمَوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَعَشِيًّا وَحِينَ تُظْهِرُونَ إِلَى وَكَذَلِكَ تُخْرَجُونَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَدْرَكَ مَا فَاتَهُ فِي يَوْمِهِ ذَلِكَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَمَنْ قَالَهُنَّ حِينَ يُمْسِي، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَدْرَكَ مَا فَاتَهُ فِي لَيْلَتِهِ ،‏‏‏‏ قال:‏‏‏‏ الرَّبِيعُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ اللَّيْثِ.

Urdu Translation

عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جو شخص صبح کے وقت «فسبحان الله حين تمسون وحين تصبحون، وله الحمد في السموات والأرض وعشيا وحين تظهرون» سے لے کر «وكذلك تخرجون» تک کہے تو اس دن کے ثواب میں جو کمی رہ گئی ہو گی اس کی تلافی ہو جائے گی، اور جو شخص شام کو ان کلمات کو کہے تو اس رات میں اس کی نیکیوں و بھلائیوں میں جو کمی رہ گئی ہو گی اس کی تلافی ہو جائے گی۔

English Translation

Narrated Abdullah ibn Abbas: The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: If anyone repeats in the morning: So glory be to Allah in the evening and in the morning; to Him is the praise in the heavens and the earth, and in the late evening and at noon. . . . thus shall you be brought forth, he will get that day what he has missed; and if anyone repeats these words in the evening he will get that night what he has missed. Ar-Rabi transmitted it from al-Layth.
