Sunan Abu Dawood 807 - Prayer (Kitab Al-Salat)

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِيسَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا مُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَيَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَهُشَيْمٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ التَّيْمِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أُمَيَّةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي مِجْلَزٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَجَدَ فِي صَلَاةِ الظُّهْرِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ثُمَّ قَامَ فَرَكَعَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَرَأَيْنَا أَنَّهُ قَرَأَ تَنْزِيلَ السَّجْدَةِ . قَالَ ابْنُ عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ لَمْ يَذْكُرْ أُمَيَّةَ أَحَدٌ إِلَّا مُعْتَمِرٌ.

Urdu Translation

عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ   نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ظہر میں سجدہ کیا پھر کھڑے ہوئے اور رکوع کیا تو ہم نے جانا کہ آپ نے الم تنزیل السجدہ پڑھی ہے۔ ابن عیسیٰ کہتے ہیں: معتمر کے علاوہ کسی نے بھی ( سند میں ) امیہ کا ذکر نہیں کیا ہے۔

English Translation

Ibn Umr said: The prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم prostrated himself in the noon prayer; then he stood up and bowed, and we knew that he recited Tanzil al-sajdah (surah xxxii). Ibn ‘Isa said: No one narrated this tradition to Umayyah except Mu’tamir
