حَدَّثَنَا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ مَالِكٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ سُمَيٍّ مَوْلَى أَبِي بَكْرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ السَّمَّانِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ إِذَا قَالَ الْإِمَامُ:‏‏‏‏ غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلا الضَّالِّينَ سورة الفاتحة آية 7، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقُولُوا:‏‏‏‏ آمِينَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَإِنَّهُ مَنْ وَافَقَ قَوْلُهُ قَوْلَ الْمَلَائِكَةِ غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ .

Urdu Translation

ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جب امام «غير المغضوب عليهم ولا الضالين» کہے تو تم آمین کہو، کیونکہ جس کا کہنا فرشتوں کے کہنے کے موافق ہو جائے گا اس کے پچھلے گناہ بخش دئیے جائیں گے ۔

English Translation

Abu Hurairah reported the prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم as saying; when the imam recites “ not of those with whom thou art angry, nor of those who go astray” (surah al-fatihah, verse 7) say Amin, for if one’s words (utterance of amin) synchronise with those of the angles, he will be forgiven his past sins.
