It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas that: The Prophet (ﷺ) said: I have been commanded to prostrate on seven bones: on the forehead - and he pointed with his hand- on the nose, the hands, the knees and the ends of the feet.

أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ النَّسَائِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قال:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعَلَّى بْنُ أَسَدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قال:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ طَاوُسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْأَبِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَسْجُدَ عَلَى سَبْعَةِ أَعْظُمٍ عَلَى الْجَبْهَةِ وَأَشَارَ بِيَدِهِ عَلَى الْأَنْفِ وَالْيَدَيْنِ وَالرُّكْبَتَيْنِ وَأَطْرَافِ الْقَدَمَيْنِ .

عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہم کہتے ہیں کہ   نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا:  مجھے سات ہڈیوں پر سجدہ کرنے کا حکم دیا گیا ہے: پیشانی پر، اور آپ نے اپنے ہاتھ سے ناک پر کا اشارہ کیا، اور دونوں ہتھیلیوں، دونوں گھٹنے، اور دونوں پیر کے کناروں یعنی انگلیوں پر۔
