It was narrated that Anas bin Malik said: Umm Sulaim came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and said: 'O Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), teach me some words that I may supplicate with during my prayer.' He said: 'Glorify Allah (by saying SubhanAllah) ten times, and praise Him (by saying Alhamdulilah) ten times, and magnify Him (by saying Allahu Akbar) ten times, then ask Him for what you need; He will say: 'Yes, yes.'

أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ وَكِيعِ بْنِ الْجَرَّاحِ أَخُو سُفْيَانَ بْنِ وَكِيعٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ بْنِ عَمَّارٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ جَاءَتْ أُمُّ سُلَيْمٍ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ،‏‏‏‏ فَقَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ،‏‏‏‏ عَلِّمْنِي كَلِمَاتٍ أَدْعُو بِهِنَّ فِي صَلَاتِي قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ سَبِّحِي اللَّهَ عَشْرًا،‏‏‏‏ وَاحْمَدِيهِ عَشْرًا،‏‏‏‏ وَكَبِّرِيهِ عَشْرًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ثُمَّ سَلِيهِ حَاجَتَكِ يَقُلْ نَعَمْ نَعَمْ .

انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   ام سلیم رضی اللہ عنہا نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آئیں، اور عرض کیا: اللہ کے رسول! مجھے کچھ ایسے کلمات سکھا دیجئیے جن کے ذریعہ میں اپنی نماز میں دعا کیا کروں، تو آپ نے فرمایا:  دس بار «سبحان اللہ»، دس بار «الحمد لله»، دس بار «اللہ أكبر» کہو، اس کے بعد تم اللہ سے اپنی حاجت مانگو، وہ ہاں، ہاں کہے گا ،  ( یعنی جو تم مانگو گی وہ تمہیں دے گا ) ۔
