أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ زُرَارَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قال:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ حَفْصَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ كَانَتْ أُمُّ عَطِيَّةَ لَا تَذْكُرُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ،‏‏‏‏ إِلَّا قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ بِأَبِي،‏‏‏‏ فَقُلْتُ:‏‏‏‏ أَسَمِعْتِ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَذْكُرُ كَذَا وَكَذَا ؟ فَقَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ نَعَمْ،‏‏‏‏ بِأَبِي، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قال:‏‏‏‏ لِيَخْرُجِ الْعَوَاتِقُ وَذَوَاتُ الْخُدُورِ وَالْحُيَّضُ وَيَشْهَدْنَ الْعِيدَ وَدَعْوَةَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ،‏‏‏‏ وَلْيَعْتَزِلِ الْحُيَّضُ الْمُصَلَّى .

Urdu Translation

حفصہ بنت سرین کہتی ہیں کہ   ام عطیہ رضی اللہ عنہا جب بھی رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کا ذکر کرتیں تو کہتی تھیں:  میرے باپ آپ پر فدا ہوں  تو میں نے ان سے پوچھا: کیا آپ نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو ایسا ایسا ذکر کرتے سنا ہے؟ تو انہوں نے کہا: ہاں، میرے باپ آپ پر فدا ہوں، آپ نے فرمایا:  چاہیئے کہ دوشیزائیں، پردہ والیاں، اور جو حیض سے ہوں  ( عید گاہ کو )  نکلیں اور سب عید میں اور مسلمانوں کی دعا میں شریک رہیں، البتہ جو حائضہ ہوں وہ صلاۃ گاہ سے الگ رہیں ۔

English Translation

It was narrated that Hafsah said: Umm 'Atiyyah would never mention the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) without saying: 'May my father be ransomed for him.' I said: 'Did you hear the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say such-and-such?' And she said: 'Yes, may my father be ransomed for him.' He said: Let the adolescent girls, women in seclusion and menstruating women come out and attend the 'Eid and supplications of the Muslims, but let the menstruating women keep away from the prayer place.
