Baab Tahajud-Qayam Ul Lail, Aur Din May Nafl Namazon Ke Ehkaam O Masail

أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قال:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي حَصِينٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ وَثَّابٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْمَسْرُوقٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ أَوْتَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ أَوَّلِهِ وَآخِرِهِ وَأَوْسَطِهِ وَانْتَهَى وِتْرُهُ إِلَى السَّحَرِ .

Urdu Translation

ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے شروع، اخیر اور بیچ رات سب میں وتر کی نماز پڑھی ہے، اور آخری عمر میں آپ کا وتر سحر ( صبح )  تک پہنچ گیا تھا ۱؎۔

English Translation

It was narrated that Aishah said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) prayed witr at the beginning (of the night) and at the end, and in the middle. And toward the end of his life, he settled on performing witr at the end of the night.
