أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قال:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ وَهُوَ ابْنُ صَفِيَّةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أُمِّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَائِشَةَرَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّ امْرَأَةً سَأَلْتِ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ غُسْلِهَا مِنَ الْمَحِيضِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَأَخْبَرَهَا كَيْفَ تَغْتَسِلُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ثُمَّ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ خُذِي فِرْصَةً مِنْ مَسْكٍ فَتَطَهَّرِي بِهَا ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ وَكَيْفَ أَتَطَهَّرُ بِهَا ؟ فَاسْتَتَرَ كَذَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ثُمَّ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏تَطَهَّرِي بِهَا ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا:‏‏‏‏ فَجَذَبْتُ الْمَرْأَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَقُلْتُ:‏‏‏‏ تَتَّبِعِينَ بِهَا أَثَرَ الدَّمِ.

Urdu Translation

ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں:   ایک عورت نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے حیض کے غسل کے متعلق پوچھا، تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اسے بتایا کہ وہ کیسے غسل کرے، پھر فرمایا:  ( غسل کے بعد )   مشک لگا ہوا  ( روئی کا )  ایک پھاہا لے کر اس سے طہارت حاصل کرو ،  ( عورت بولی )  اس سے کیسے طہارت حاصل کروں؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اس طرح پردہ کر لیا  ( یعنی شرم سے اپنے منہ پر ہاتھ کی آڑ کر لی )  پھر فرمایا:  سبحان اللہ! اس سے پاکی حاصل کرو ، ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں: تو میں نے عورت کو پکڑ کر کھینچ لیا، اور  ( چپکے سے اس کے کان میں )  کہا: اسے خون کے نشان پر پھیرو ۱؎۔

English Translation

It was narrated from 'Aishah that a woman asked the Prophet (ﷺ) about performing Ghusl following menstruation and he told her how to perform Ghusl. Then he said: Take a piece of cloth perfumed with musk and purify yourself with it. She said: How should I purify myself with it? He covered his face then said: Subhan Allah! Purify yourself with it. 'Aishah said: I took the woman aside and said: 'Wipe away the traces of blood with it.'
