أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ أَبُو يُوسُفَ الصَّيْدَلَانِيُّ الرِّقِّيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قال:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قال:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْعَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قال:‏‏‏‏ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقْرَأُ الْقُرْآنَ عَلَى كُلِّ حَالٍ لَيْسَ الْجَنَابَةَ .

Urdu Translation

علی رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ہر حال میں قرآن پڑھتے تھے سوائے جنابت کے ۱؎۔

English Translation

It was narrated that 'Ali said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to recite Qur'an in all circumstances except when he was Junub.
