أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَخْبَرَنِي نَافِعٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أُخْتِهِ حَفْصَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ قُلْتُ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مَا شَأْنُ النَّاسِ حَلُّوا وَلَمْ تَحِلَّ مِنْ عُمْرَتِكَ ؟ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ إِنِّي لَبَّدْتُ رَأْسِي، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَقَلَّدْتُ هَدْيِي، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَلَا أُحِلُّ حَتَّى أُحِلَّ مِنَ الْحَجِّ .

Urdu Translation

ام المؤمنین حفصہ رضی الله عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ   میں نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے عرض کیا: اللہ کے رسول! کیا بات ہے لوگوں نے احرام کھول دیا ہے اور آپ نے اپنے عمرہ کا احرام نہیں کھولا؟ آپ نے فرمایا: ”میں نے اپنے سر کی تلبید ۱؎، اور اپنے ہدی کی تقلید ۲؎ کر رکھی ہے، تو میں احرام نہیں کھولوں گا جب تک کہ حج سے فارغ نہ ہو جاؤں“۔

English Translation

It was narrated from 'Abdullah bin 'Umar that his sister, Hafsah, said; I said to the Prophet;'O Messenger of Allah! Why is it that the people have exited Ihram and you have not exited Ihram following your 'Umrah?'He said: 'I have matted my hair and garlanded my Hadi (sacrificial animal), so I will not exit Ihram until I exit Ihram after Hajj.'''
