Baab Hajj Ke Ehkaam O Manasik

أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ حَفْصِ بْنِ غِيَاثٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْالْأَسْوَدِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِالْخَيْفِ مِنْ مِنًى حَتَّى نَزَلَتْ:‏‏‏‏ وَالْمُرْسَلاتِ عُرْفًا سورة المرسلات آية 1، فَخَرَجَتْ حَيَّةٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ اقْتُلُوهَا ،‏‏‏‏ فَابْتَدَرْنَاهَا فَدَخَلَتْ فِي جُحْرِهَا.

Urdu Translation

عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   ہم رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ منیٰ کی مسجد خیف میں تھے یہاں تک کہ سورۃ ”والمرسلات عرفاً“ نازل ہوئی، اتنے میں ایک سانپ نکلا تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”اسے مارو“ تو ہم مارنے کے لیے جلدی سے لپکے، لیکن وہ اپنی سوراخ میں گھس گیا۔

English Translation

It was narrated that Abdullah said: We were with the Messenger of Allah in Al-Khaif, which is in Mina, when the following was revealed: 'By the winds sent forth one after another.' A snake came out, and the Messenger of Allah said: 'Kill it.' So they rushed to kill, but it went back into its hole.
