أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قال:‏‏‏‏ أَنْبَأَنَا سُفْيَانُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قالت:‏‏‏‏ خَرَجْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا نُرَى إِلَّا الْحَجَّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَلَمَّا كَانَ بِسَرِفَ حِضْتُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَدَخَلَ عَلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَنَا أَبْكِي، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ مَا لَكِ ؟ أَنَفِسْتِ ؟ فَقُلْتُ:‏‏‏‏ نَعَمْ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا أَمَرٌ كَتَبَهُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ عَلَى بَنَاتِ آدَمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَاقْضِي مَا يَقْضِي الْحَاجُّ غَيْرَ أَنَّ لَا بِالْبَيْتِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَضَحَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ نِسَائِهِ بِالْبَقَرِ .

Urdu Translation

ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ   ہم رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ نکلے، ہمیں صرف حج کرنا تھا، جب مقام سرف آیا تو میں حائضہ ہو گئی، تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم میرے پاس آئے، اور اس وقت میں رو رہی تھی آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے پوچھا:  کیا بات ہے؟ حائضہ ہو گئی ہو؟  میں نے عرض کیا: ہاں، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا:  یہ ایسی چیز ہے جسے اللہ عزوجل نے آدم زادیوں کے لیے مقدر کر دیا ہے، تو وہ سارے کام کرو جو حاجی کرتا ہے سوائے اس کے کہ خانہ کعبہ کا طواف نہ کرنا ، نیز رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اپنی بیویوں کی طرف سے گائے کی قربانی کی ۔

English Translation

It was narrated that 'Aishah said: We went out with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) with no intention other than Hajj. When he was in Sarif [1] I began menstruating. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) entered upon me and I was weeping. He said: 'What is the matter with you? Has your Nifas begun?' [2] I said: 'Yes.' He said: 'This is something that Allah the Mighty and Sublime has decreed for the daughter of Adam. Do what the pilgrims do, but do not perform tawaf around the House.' And the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) sacrificed a cow on behalf of his wives. [1] Sarif is a place between Al-Madinah and Makkah, near Makkah. [2] Here, it means menstruation.
