أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا أُمَيَّةُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ سَيَّارٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ الشَّعْبِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ مُضَرِّسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِجَمْعٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقُلْتُ:‏‏‏‏ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنِّي أَقْبَلْتُ مِنْ جَبَلَيْ طَيِّئٍ لَمْ أَدَعْ حَبْلًا إِلَّا وَقَفْتُ عَلَيْهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَهَلْ لِي مِنْ حَجٍّ ؟ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ مَنْ صَلَّى هَذِهِ الصَّلَاةَ مَعَنَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَقَدْ وَقَفَ قَبْلَ ذَلِكَ بِعَرَفَةَ لَيْلًا أَوْ نَهَارًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَدْ تَمَّ حَجُّهُ وَقَضَى تَفَثَهُ .

Urdu Translation

عروہ بن مضرس رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   میں مزدلفہ میں نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آیا، اور عرض کیا: اللہ کے رسول! میں طے کے دونوں پہاڑوں سے ہوتا ہوا آیا ہوں، میں نے ریت کا کوئی ٹیلہ نہیں چھوڑا جس پر میں نے وقوف نہ کیا ہو، تو کیا میرا حج ہو گیا؟ تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”جس نے یہ نماز ( یعنی نماز فجر ) ہمارے ساتھ پڑھی، اور وہ اس سے پہلے عرفہ میں رات یا دن کے کسی حصے میں ٹھہر چکا ہے، تو اس کا حج پورا ہو گیا، اور اس نے اپنا میل و کچیل دور کر لیا“۔

English Translation

It was narrated that Urwah bin Mudarris said: I came to the Prohet in Jam (Al-Muzdalifah) and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, I have come from the two mountains of Tai and I did not leave any mountain but I stood on it; is there Hajj for me?' The Messenger of Allah said: 'Whoever offers this prayer with us, and stood before that in Arafatat by night or by day, his Hajj is complete, and he has completed the prescribed duties.'
