Baab Taharat Ke Ehkaam O Masail

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قال:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ نَاجِيَةَ بْنِ خُفَافٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَمَّارِ بْنِ يَاسِرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قال:‏‏‏‏ أَجْنَبْتُ وَأَنَا فِي الْإِبِلِ فَلَمْ أَجِدْ مَاءً، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَتَمَعَّكْتُ فِي التُّرَابِ تَمَعُّكَ الدَّابَّةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَأَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَأَخْبَرْتُهُ بِذَلِكَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ إِنَّمَا كَانَ يَجْزِيكَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ التَّيَمُّمُ .

Urdu Translation

عمار بن یاسر رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ   میں اونٹ چرا رہا تھا کہ میں جنبی ہو گیا، اور مجھے پانی نہیں ملا، تو میں نے جانور کی طرح مٹی میں لوٹ پوٹ لیا، پھر میں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آیا اور میں نے آپ کو اس کی خبر دی تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا:  تمہارے لیے بس تیمم ہی کافی تھا ۔

English Translation

It was narrated that 'Ammar bin Yasir said: I became Junub while I was on a camel and I could not find any water, so I rolled in the dust like an animal. I came to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and told him about that, and he said: 'Tayammum would have been sufficient for you.'
