أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاق بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ يُحَدِّثُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ ذَكْوَانَ أَبِي عَمْرٍو، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ اسْتَأْمِرُوا النِّسَاءَ فِي أَبْضَاعِهِنَّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قِيلَ:‏‏‏‏ فَإِنَّ الْبِكْرَ تَسْتَحِي وَتَسْكُتُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ هُوَ إِذْنُهَا .

Urdu Translation

ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی الله عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ   نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”عورتوں سے ان کی شادی کے بارے میں مشورہ کیا کرو“، کہا گیا: کنواری لڑکی تو شرم کرتی ہے، اور چپ رہتی ہے ( بول نہیں پاتی ) ؟ آپ نے فرمایا: ”اس کی خاموشی ہی اس کی اجازت ہے“۔

English Translation

It was narrated from 'Aishah that the Prophet said: Seek the permission of women with regard to marriage. It was said: What if a virgin is too shy and remains silent? He said: That is her permission.
