أَخْبَرَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَظِيمِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قال:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قال:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ وَكَانَ مِنْ الْعَابِدِينَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ مُطَرِّفِ بْنِ طَرِيفٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ أَبِي نَوْفٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ سَلِيطٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ ابْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قال:‏‏‏‏ مَرَرْتُ بِالنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ يَتَوَضَّأُ مِنْ بِئْرِ بُضَاعَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقُلْتُ:‏‏‏‏ أَتَتَوَضَّأُ مِنْهَا وَهِيَ يُطْرَحُ فِيهَا مَا يُكْرَهُ مِنَ النَّتَنِ ؟ فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ الْمَاءُ لَا يُنَجِّسُهُ شَيْءٌ .

Urdu Translation

ابو سعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   میں نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس سے گزرا، آپ بئر بضاعہ کے پانی سے وضو کر رہے تھے، میں نے عرض کیا: کیا آپ اس سے وضو کر رہے ہیں حالانکہ اس میں تو ایسی بدبودار چیزیں ڈالی جاتی ہیں جو ناگوار ہوتی ہیں؟ تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا:  پانی کو کوئی چیز ناپاک نہیں کرتی ۔

English Translation

It was narrated from Ibn Abi Sa'eed Al-Khudri that his father said: I passed by the Prophet (ﷺ) when he was performing Wudu' from the well of Buda'ah. I said: 'Are you performing Wudu' from it when garbage is thrown into it?' He said: 'Water is not made impure by anything.'
