Baab Nikah-Shadi Biah, Ke Ehkaam O Masail

أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاق بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَنْبَأَنَا سُفْيَانُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ جَاءَتِ امْرَأَةُ رِفَاعَةَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ إِنَّ رِفَاعَةَ طَلَّقَنِي فَأَبَتَّ طَلَاقِي، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَإِنِّي تَزَوَّجْتُ بَعْدَهُ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ الزَّبِيرِ وَمَا مَعَهُ إِلَّا مِثْلُ هُدْبَةِ الثَّوْبِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَضَحِكَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ لَعَلَّكِ تُرِيدِينَ أَنْ تَرْجِعِي إِلَى رِفَاعَةَ لَا حَتَّى يَذُوقَ عُسَيْلَتَكِ وَتَذُوقِي عُسَيْلَتَهُ .

Urdu Translation

ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی الله عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ   رفاعہ کی بیوی رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آئی اور کہا کہ رفاعہ نے مجھے طلاق بتہ ( یعنی بالکل قطع تعلق کر دینے والی آخری طلاق ) دے دی ہے، اور میں نے ان کے بعد عبدالرحمٰن بن زبیر سے شادی کر لی جن کے پاس بس کپڑے کی جھالر جیسا ہے، ( یہ سن کر ) رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ہنس پڑے اور فرمایا: ”شاید تم رفاعہ کے پاس دوبارہ واپس جانا چاہتی ہو ( تو سن لو ) یہ اس وقت تک نہیں ہو سکتا جب تک وہ تمہارا شہد اور تم اس کا شہد نہ چکھ لو“۔

English Translation

It was narrated that 'Aishah said: The wife of Rifa'ah came to the Messenger of Allah and said: 'Rifa'ah divorced me and made it irrevocable. Then I married 'Abdur-Rahman bin Az-Zubair, and what he has is like the fringe of a garment.' The Messenger of Allah smiled and said: 'Do you want to go back to Rifa'ah? No, not unitl he ('Abdur-Rahman) tastes your sweetness and you taste his sweetness.'
