أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاق بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، قَالَ: أَنْبَأَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ، أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: افْتَقَدْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ذَاتَ لَيْلَةٍ، فَظَنَنْتُ أَنَّهُ ذَهَبَ إِلَى بَعْضِ نِسَائِهِ، فَتَجَسَّسْتُ، ثُمَّ رَجَعْتُ، فَإِذَا هُوَ رَاكِعٌ، أَوْ سَاجِدٌ يَقُولُ: سُبْحَانَكَ، وَبِحَمْدِكَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ . فَقُلْتُ: بِأَبِي وَأُمِّي، إِنَّكَ لَفِي شَأْنٍ، وَإِنِّي لَفِي آخَرَ.
ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی الله عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ ایک رات میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو غائب پایا، مجھے گمان ہوا کہ آپ اپنی کسی بیوی کے پاس گئے ہوں گے، میں آپ کو تلاش کرنے لگی پھر میں لوٹی تو دیکھا کہ آپ رکوع یا سجدے میں ہیں، آپ کہہ رہے ہیں: «سبحانك و بحمدك لا إله إلا أنت» میں نے عرض کیا: میرے ماں باپ آپ پر قربان ہوں، آپ کچھ کر رہے ہیں اور میں کچھ اور ہی گمان کر رہی تھی۔
