It was narrated that 'Aishah, may Allah be pleased with her, said: The Messenger of Allah came to me one day looking happy and said: 'O 'Aishah! Did you not see that Mujazziz Al-Mudliji came to me when Usamah bin Zaid was with me. He saw Usamah bin Zaid and Zaid with a blanket over them; their heads were covered but their feet were exposed, and he said: These feet belong to one another.'

أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاق بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَنْبَأَنَا سُفْيَانُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ دَخَلَ عَلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ مَسْرُورًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ يَا عَائِشَةُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَلَمْ تَرَيْ أَنَّ مُجَزِّزًا الْمُدْلِجِيَّ دَخَلَ عَلَيَّ وَعِنْدِي أُسَامَةُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَرَأَى أُسَامَةَ بْنَ زَيْدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَزَيْدًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَعَلَيْهِمَا قَطِيفَةٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَقَدْ غَطَّيَا رُءُوسَهُمَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَبَدَتْ أَقْدَامُهُمَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ هَذِهِ أَقْدَامٌ بَعْضُهَا مِنْ بَعْضٍ .

ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی الله عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ   ایک دن رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم میرے پاس خوش خوش آئے اور کہا: عائشہ! ارے تم نے نہیں دیکھا مجزز مدلجی ( قیافہ شناس ) میرے پاس آیا اور ( اس وقت ) میرے پاس اسامہ بن زید تھے، اس نے اسامہ بن زید اور ( ان کے والد ) زید بن حارثہ رضی اللہ عنہما دونوں کو دیکھا، ان کے اوپر ایک چھوردار چادر پڑی ہوئی تھی جس سے وہ دونوں اپنا سر ڈھانپے ہوئے تھے اور ان کے پیر دکھائی پڑ رہے تھے، اس نے ان کے پیر دیکھ کر کہا: یہ وہ پیر ہیں جن کا بعض بعض سے ہے ۱؎۔
