It was narrated from Nafi' that Rafi' bin Khadij told 'Abdullah bin 'Umar that the Messenger of Allah forbade leasing arable land.

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ الْمُقْرِئُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا جُوَيْرِيَةُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ نَافِعٍ،‏‏‏‏ أَنَّ رَافِعَ بْنَ خَدِيجٍحَدَّثَ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ نَهَى عَنْ كِرَاءِ الْمَزَارِعِ .

نافع سے روایت ہے کہ رافع بن خدیج رضی اللہ عنہ نے عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے حدیث بیان کی کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے کھیتوں کو کرائے پر اٹھانے سے منع فرمایا ہے۔
