أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ. ح وَأَنْبَأَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أُقَاتِلَ النَّاسَ حَتَّى يَقُولُوا:‏‏‏‏ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَإِذَا قَالُوهَا مَنَعُوا مِنِّي دِمَاءَهُمْ،‏‏‏‏ وَأَمْوَالَهُمْ إِلَّا بِحَقِّهَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَحِسَابُهُمْ عَلَى اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ .

Urdu Translation

ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا:  مجھے حکم دیا گیا ہے کہ میں لوگوں سے اس وقت تک جنگ کروں جب تک کہ وہ  لا الٰہ الا اللہ  نہ کہیں، جب وہ اسے کہہ لیں تو انہوں نے مجھ سے اپنا خون اور اپنا مال محفوظ کر لیے مگر  ( جان و مال کے )  حق کے بدلے اور اس کا حساب اللہ تعالیٰ پر ہو گا ۔

English Translation

It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said: 'I have been commanded to fight the people until they say La ilaha illallah. If they say it, then their blood and wealth are prohibited for me, except for a right that is due, and their reckoning will be with Allah, the Mighty and Sublime.
