Baab Larai Ki Kitab [Khoon Behne ki Mumaniat]

أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ السَّرْحِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَنْبَأَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَخْبَرَنِي اللَّيْثُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلَانَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ:‏‏‏‏ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَمَّا قَطَّعَ الَّذِينَ سَرَقُوا لِقَاحَهُ،‏‏‏‏ وَسَمَلَ أَعْيُنَهُمْ بِالنَّارِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَاتَبَهُ اللَّهُ فِي ذَلِكَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى:‏‏‏‏ إِنَّمَا جَزَاءُ الَّذِينَ يُحَارِبُونَ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ سورة المائدة آية 33 الْآيَةَ كُلَّهَا .

Urdu Translation

ابوالزناد سے روایت ہے کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے جب ان کے ہاتھ کاٹے جن ہوں نے آپ کی اونٹنیاں چرائی تھیں اور آگ سے ان کی آنکھوں کو پھوڑا تو اللہ تعالیٰ نے اس سلسلے میں آپ کی سرزنش کی ۱؎، چنانچہ اللہ تعالیٰ نے یہ مکمل آیت اتاری «إنما جزاء الذين يحاربون اللہ ورسوله»  ان لوگوں کا بدلہ جو اللہ اور اس کے رسول سے لڑتے ہیں … الخ

English Translation

It was narrated from Abu Az-Zinad that: The Messenger of Allah [SAW] had the (hands and feet) of those who drove off his camels cut off, and their eyes gouged out with fire. Allah rebuked him for that, and Allah, Most High, revealed the entire verse: The recompense of those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger.
